CERATIZIT Deutschland opens a showroom in Slovenia
13.09.2019
To step up sales activities in the 'Adria Area', CERATIZIT Deutschland has opened a showroom in Slovenia.
It will act immediately as an important point of contact for customers and will also be used for technical training and a wide variety of customer seminars. After the opening celebration on April 9, the showroom was kept open for the whole week for customer visits.
The date for the opening ceremony and the following open days were chosen deliberately. Forma Tool, the largest and most significant trade fair for machine and tool making in Slovenia, was taking place at the same time in Celje. Many visitors to the trade fair used the opportunity to escape the fair crowds and commotion to inspect CERATIZIT's tool highlights in the pleasant environment of the newly installed showroom.
For Gregor Fink, Sales Manager in Slovenia, the showroom opening was an important step towards intensifying sales activities even more in the region. He has been working successfully on building up sales in Slovenia since 2014. At first alone and then with a five-strong team. "In recent years, we have generated very good results. And we want to work consistently at improving and expanding," emphasized Gregor Fink in his speech at the opening ceremony. "With the showroom, we have now created a point of contact to enable us to support our customers better."
Business Development Manager Harald Schulte could only agree, adding, “As Team Cutting Tools, we combine the four competence brands Cutting Solutions by CERATIZIT, KOMET, WNT and KLENK and offer over 60,000 articles in the new catalog. The showroom is a logical step, enabling us to further expand our service portfolio for customers in Slovenia and generate greater closeness to them."
Why Slovenia is a land of great potential for Team Cutting Tools is explained by Tobias Bauer, Commercial Manager for CERATIZIT Deutschland, in his speech. "Although Slovenia is a relatively small country, it has a strong industrial base." With a wink, he adds, "And apart from that, cycling is a national sport here. Given our company values orientated towards cycling sport, we have the best conditions for becoming even more successful." And Tobias Bauer is convinced that the showroom supports this aim. That's not just because a professional level bike belonging to the WNT-ROTOR Pro Cycling team is on show here, but because customers can see and touch CERATIZIT cutting tools here.
It was already clear at the opening ceremony that his assessment was right. Excited customers grasped the concept enthusiastically, enjoying the unique atmosphere in the showroom with its catering and entertaining music. The subsequent open days also confirmed that the investment in the showroom was paying off. The whole week produced not only just several purchases by customers but also a good number of new customers as well. With so much positive feedback, Gregor Fink and his team felt that Team Cutting Tools in the Adria region still had a long and successful path ahead of them.
