Wind turbine rotor blade is generally one of the mechanical assemblies that is subjected to maximum load. There are almost no appliances or equipment exposed to severe operating conditions involving extreme stress and extreme loads . Even the slightest deficiency can have very devastating consequences and can result in high costs for repairs, long delays in operation , or even replacing the rotors.
New directions in energetics and pressure to produce more renewable energy pose great challenges to the producers of wind power. One of the main priorities in the wind energy industry is to maximize the utilization rate so as to speed up the production process in order to reduce costs and achieve rapid return on investment.  When the company's leadership is certain that it works well and offers good products, as is the case with the Rijeka INDUSTROPLAN that sells engineering in the demanding German market, then it is logical that such a company assembles a consortium and with it offer a program of concrete measures to attract investors in the liquefied petroleum gas terminal on the island Krk and for the salvation of shipbuilding and metal industries of Primorje and region.
There are a few successful companies in Croatia, particularly those whose modest offices arelocated in the technology incubator, in this case at the Technology Innovation Centre Rijeka, whose leadership has a vision for the success of their own city or region and has the vision and knowledge about achieving goals along the way willing to share with other companies. They were able to gather these companies in the consortium and offer it to the city, county or state. 

 The European Union RSEDP2 in Serbia was implemented in partnership with the Ministry of regional development and local government, government institutions, NGOs and companies, with a total fund of 22 million euros. As a direct result RSEDP2 program opened close to 4,000 new jobs and established several new entrepreneurial associations. Also, partnerships between municipalities, regional development agencies, business clusters, enterprises and educational institutions were established, which provide a solid basis of economic development and contribute to increasing the competitiveness of the domestic and foreign markets. 

 astned group chose ABB for supplier of charging equipment for more than 200 high-speed charging stations for electric vehicles in the Netherlands. This would enable fast charge within 50 kilometers for all 16.7 million inhabitants of the state.
Each of the Fastned charging stations on Dutch motorways will be equipped with more rapid chargers that will work within the standards. 50-kilowatt models Terra 52 and Terra 53 can recharge electric vehicles in 15 to 30 minutes and will be shipped in September 2013. Building of the Fastned charging stations covered with solar cells should be completed in 2015. 

 Ten years of rich experience in production automation of the company Festo in recent years have been successfully transferred to the area of automation in the process industry. This year, after ten conferences on automation of production they have prepared the first international conference on automation in the process industry for media representatives. The main purpose of the two-day event, which was held in mid-June 2013 in the technology center of Festo in Esslingen am Neckar, Germany, was the presentation of a comprehensive program supported by Festo's engineers, to address the challenges in the field of process automation, allowing users of Festo's solutions increase of productivity, improved operational management and reduction of overall costs throughout the lifetime of process manufacturing. Dr.sc.  Essential in the packaging industry is fast and extensive production of high quality by using a reliable and effective technology. With the new version of "Packaging" electric and hybrid Allrounder "Alldrive" and "Hidrive" injection moulding machines, Arburg respects these requirements. Two series of highly-efficient injection moulding machines offer high productivity and reduced energy consumption. These Allrounder machines carry the letter "P" for "Packaging" after the usual label of injection moulding machine.
"Packaging" versions of Allrounder "Alldrive" (A) and "Hidrive" (H) were consistently improved as complete highly-effective solutions and for this purpose injection moulding machines were optimized in almost all areas. 

 It is common knowledge that the secret of a successful injection moulding is to know exactly what is going on in your mould. Precise mould cooling circuit control is necessary for the complete control of injection moulding . Mouldflo system offers an affordable solution for monitoring flow and temperature circuits within an injection mould. Mouldflo system was developed in partnership of three Danish companies. Company Mouldpro which is the creator of the development was responsible for the implementation and market knowledge. Mechanical development was done by the company Soltech and electronic engineering was done by the company Move Innovation . Mouldfo set consists of a manifold, controllers and modules. High quality compact and robust sensors that measure the flow rate and temperature on the principle Votrex are placed in the manifold. 

 Complex decision-making processes have to be designed so as to adapt to new information, and intelligent software solutions not only enhance decision-making and forecasting but also optimize the use of resources. The key is so-called collective intelligence .
Automatic systems will soon produce more data than all the (human) users together. Use of this flood of bits and bytes and its management remains a major challenge. By connecting sensors to some common intelligence, extraction of useful knowledge from many unrelated facts in areas such as, for example , medicine, production planning or building systems, will be possible. Collective intelligence technology is designed for digging acting information from large amounts of data, and it helps professionals in some hospitals , for now experimentally, in ensuring better patient care. Software tools in the electronic medical files find key data, comparing the procedures with the latest instructions and thus shorten the time of evaluation , reduce errors and provide faster treatment.   

 With the aid of computer simulations engineers early in the product development phase check its capabilities, explore new concepts and and optimize the ideas, even before the product is in production or assembly. The most common reasons for delay in the implementation of software for simulation in the companies in the past were the price and complicated application. New software solutions from Autodesk, called Autodesk Sim 360 Pro circumvent both obstacles.
Autodesk Sim360 Pro is an effective and flexible software solution for simulation, which for the calculation applies the efficiency of cloud computing. It enables users, which have bought the software at an affordable price, to solve complex problems in product development at any time and from anywhere. 

 In its made-to-order production of specialist medical technology components and kits, Innovations Medical relies on daily production of parts. It is able to meet this requirement thanks to two CNC 5-axis high performance machining centers, which are fed by a robot system from the workpiece/pallet magazine.
When it comes to precision mechanical manufacturing, Innovations Medical lives up to the tradition of the medical technology crafts that abound in the region around Tuttlingen and the Heuberg.  One must search for benefits and opportunities where therea are knowledge, competencies and capacities. It is necessary to encourage innovation and entrepreneurship, and the government should provide fair rules, which apply to all. Only in this way we will be able to reach a long-term and sustainable vision for the industry, which is a prerequisite for the successful development of society and the happiness of its individuals. That was heard at the traditional, 5th industry forum of innovation, development and technology (IRT) 2013, in June in Portorož.
Forum was this year for the first time held for three days because the third day in Portorož gathered European toolmakers, linked to the European Association of toolmaking and mechanical engineering ISTMA Europe. The whole event took place under the sign of the latest development achievements and knowledge of domestic and foreign industry, current debates, professional exhibitions, meetings and establishing new business partnerships.
